Black Friday Ads That Actually Work
Real Black Friday and Cyber Monday ads from Meta's Ad Library, captured during the 2026 season — with the offer and the hook behind each one.
- ✅ Every ad was running on Meta when we captured it, one ad per brand. Black Friday ads are seasonal, so most stop after Cyber Monday; the hooks and offers are what to borrow

What makes a Black Friday ad actually work?
Black Friday doesn't start on Black Friday. When we captured these ads on October 24, 2026, a month before the day itself, these 25 brands were already running Black Friday and Cyber Monday ads on Meta. Ten of them sell early: early access lists, previews and “early Black Friday” prices. The rest show that on Black Friday the offer is the creative: a sitewide number, a free gift, a bundle or a code, stated in the first line.
Start early, and give people a reason to join
FOREO asks shoppers to subscribe to Black Friday Early Access, Aspen & Arlo runs a “Black Friday Preview” and PLUFFI tells viewers they’re “getting EARLY ACCESS”. Early ads build the audience you sell to on the day.
Put the offer in the first line
Blissy leads with “Up to 55% Off”, Citywide Goods with “Save 30% OFF” and Retro-Stage with “Every retro look under $35”. In a feed full of sales, the offer is the hook.
Decide who the offer is for
Duppe Scents saves its best deal for returning customers (“This isn’t the public Black Friday deal”), while Beis keeps its 25% off for new customers. One audience per offer keeps the message clear.
Bring back last year's winners
16 of these 25 ads first ran in 2025 or earlier and were running again in October 2026. PLUFFI’s early-access ad first ran in November 2024. A proven Black Friday ad is worth relaunching before you brief new creative.
None of this is unique to any one brand — it's a pattern across every ad below. Use the "why it works" note under each example to spot which lever a given brand is pulling, and borrow the tactic rather than the execution.
Black Friday ad do's and don'ts
Do
- Launch an early-access or VIP list ad in October
- State the offer (percentage, price or gift) in the first line
- Give people a code or a deadline they can act on
- Decide who each offer is for: new customers, loyal customers or everyone
- Relaunch last year's best Black Friday ad before making new ones
Don't
- Don't wait until Thanksgiving week to start
- Don't bury the discount at the bottom of the caption
- Don't run “ends tonight” messaging for weeks
- Don't let the image and the copy show different offers
- Don't forget Cyber Monday — plan a second reason to buy

Frequently Asked Questions
When should Black Friday ads start?
Earlier than most brands think. These ads were captured on October 24, 2026, a month before Black Friday (November 27, 2026), and ten of the 25 were already selling early: early access sign-ups (FOREO, Eddie Bauer), previews (Aspen & Arlo) or early prices (Beis, Comfrt, Ozonics).
What offers work best in Black Friday ads?
Ones you can grasp in a second. In this file: early sales (5 ads), early access and VIP offers (5), sitewide discounts (3), gifts with purchase (2), bundles and bonus stacks (2), urgency (2), Cyber Monday offers (2), creator-led ads (2), one product-first ad and one price-point ad.
Should Black Friday ads use a discount code?
A code makes an offer feel exclusive and easy to track. Comfrt uses EARLYACCESS, Furnis uses BFCM and Lumos uses CYBER55, while Blissy and Citywide Goods skip the code and put the percentage up front. Codes suit early and VIP offers; sitewide sales work without one.
Can you reuse last year's Black Friday ads?
Yes, and many brands do. 16 of these 25 ads first ran in 2025 or earlier and were running again in October 2026; PLUFFI’s early-access ad first ran in November 2024. If an ad won last year, relaunch it before you brief new creative.
How are Cyber Monday ads different?
They're usually a second, shorter push. Lumos Knitting Light runs a Cyber Week code (CYBER55) and Regal Collective a Cyber Monday gift offer. A separate Cyber Monday angle gives shoppers who skipped Black Friday a new reason to click.
Where do these ads come from?
Meta's public Ad Library — the same tool anyone can use to search active Facebook and Instagram ads. Every ad here was running when we captured it during the 2026 Black Friday season, and each card links to that brand's ads in the Ad Library.
How do you pick which ads to include?
We search Meta's Ad Library for Black Friday, BFCM and Cyber Monday ads, keep ads from brands that sell their own products, skip catalog ads with no written hook and keep one ad per brand. No brand on this page is repeated anywhere else in the library.
How often is this page updated?
We add new ads as brands launch their Black Friday campaigns, through Cyber Monday (November 30, 2026). After that the page stays up as a record of what worked, and we refresh it with the next season’s ads before Black Friday 2027.
Can I request my brand's ad be removed or credited differently?
Yes — contact us and we'll update or remove it. This page is an independent editorial showcase and isn't sponsored by or affiliated with any brand shown.
