The Triangle Model
One of the key takeaways is understanding The Triangle Model, the image below. Each corner is essential in growing your brand week after week – Ad Copy & Creative, Website Experience, and Targeting & traffic. Not just with Facebook ads but with all channels and marketing in general.
The goal is to improve these 3 things week over week, even if it is just by a small amount.
What does that mean?
It means you are running tests and making tweaks on the go. Notably, you improve your copy, creative, targeting, and website to continually boost engagement, click-through, and conversion rates.
Recognizing the Consumer’s Journey
Below is a good diagram to use when trying to improve your copy and creative.
It outlines the top and bottom of the funnel as cold and hot traffic. You can see how the messaging changes as customers move through this funnel.
Most brands only focus on the direct response of “hot” traffic. This makes traffic expensive and also limited. If you start looking at the full picture and customer journey, you will be able to bring in new customers at a much better ROI.
Not only that, but looking at the full funnel will allow you to generate a consistent flow of new customers.
Now that you can see the messaging changes as people become more aware, you need to think about how to engage them at each step of the funnel. Someone who has never heard of the brand is going to receive a different message than someone who has clicked through to the site.
